My Story
I remember when I sat alone at a coffee shop — feeling half invisible, half invincible… and I just kept building anyway.
I wasn’t surrounded by a cheering crowd.
I wasn’t backed by a million-dollar fund.
I was backed by faith, by vision, and by a God who whispered, “Keep going.”
WonderLuxe was never just about creating a travel platform — it was about creating a space where people could feel seen, feel connected, feel limitless…
the same way I once dreamed of feeling myself.
I didn’t really see myself becoming a travel agent.
I thought about it once — maybe for the perks or discounts to assist when I was booking for clients.
But the truth is, I don’t even like pre-planned trips.
I’ve always been someone who wants to feel something when I go somewhere — not just follow a schedule.
So even before WonderLuxe, when I was building trips for friends or clients,
I would find myself on at least three different apps just to personalize it enough for them to maximize their time there —
still utilizing my own forms of payment methods just for flexibility and convenience.
That’s when I realized:
There was a gap in travel, so we filled it.
I couldn’t find a site specifically built to give you a voice in one place without booking an agent.
A site where you could add things to enhance your trip and complement your vibe —
all on one platform, with the convenience to choose how to pay.
People want to know where to go to actually have the experience they’re craving —
not get stuck in circles of the same known spots.
They want to navigate somewhere different. Somewhere that speaks to them.
For whatever chapter of life they’re living right now.
